Currency updates for non GBP customers

We wanted to inform you that from the 1st of July 2017 we will be changing all customers currency settings to be Pound Sterling (GBP/£). Any new accounts are automatically assigned to pay in GBP, and US Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR) options are no longer available.

With the ever changing currency rates we have made the decision to move to a single currency platform. This move will help make our own internal financing streamlined for our finance team. This move also speeds up our customer billing requests as services and billings will match on a single figure instead of three.

The process will be done over a 3 month period due to the complexities associated with such a change. We will be changing the settings when the number of invoices in an account is 0 or very small depending on the number of services you have.

We understand that many non-GBP paying customers prefer USD or EUR because it is their own currency or do business themselves in that currency. We hope you understand our reasons for moving to a single currency.

Thank you and if you have any questions please feel free to contact the billing team via our help desk at: https://www.hostmedia.co.uk/client/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=10
